  5. Here are two HyperCard V1.25 format stacks, but run fine under HyperCard
  6. V2.x. 
  7.  
  8. 1) Data Transfer Info.:
  9.  - is a stack which start to address the issues involved in exchanging data
  10. from IBMpc to/from Macintosh and file translation.
  11.  - It has informatin on Word Processors, SpreadSheet, Graphics and database
  12. file formats and list some problems and solution to translation between
  13. file formats.
  14.  - it has a section on MS-DOS file extensions and what they mean.
  15.  - it has soem screen clips from Claris XTND (MacWrite II), AFE, MacLink
  16. Plus, MicroSoft Windows Paint program.
  17.  - it list from free unix bitmap graphics translation packages
  18.  - it list a shareware IBMpc bitmap translation package
  19.

  21. 2) Program Import/Exports:
  22.  
  23. It contains cards listing applications and formats they can import or
  24. export directly.  Where separte translation utilities are available they
  25. are listed on separate cards with refereces to them.
  26.  
  27. Each card has four text fields: 
  28. "title" - Product name, Version, & Operating System.
  29. "Import" - Import formats
  30. "Export" - Export formats
  31. "Problems" - Known problems, limitations, references & other information.

  33. Permission is granted to use these stack for electronic presentations in
  34. the educational community free of charge, as long as credit information is
  35. left unchanged and is displayed.
